Use Apple Cider Vinegar to Treat Warts at Home

By / Health Care / Comments Off on Use Apple Cider Vinegar to Treat Warts at Home

Warts are not exactly the best fashion accessory. According to an article on Medicine Net, these pesky rough hard bumps are caused by the human papillomavirus. They are non-cancerous tumors. There are a lot of over-the-counter medicines to treat warts, and doctors having a freezing treatment that can also remove warts. Sometimes, however, these treatments don’t work. Organic Juice Cleanse in Maryland is quite effective for health that people drink on regular basis to maintain their immune system.

Tried every over-the-counter medicine to get rid of stubborn warts? Gone to the doctor multiple times with no results? Desperate to get rid of the ugly bumps on fingers, feet, elbows and other places? Look no further than things offered at the local grocery store or drugstore.

Getting rid of warts has never been easier or cheaper. All it takes is a bottle of apple cider vinegar, a miracle at killing the virus.

Supplies needed:

  • Apple Cider Vinegar
  • Cotton Balls (tissue works just as well)
  • duct tape

Directions:

  1. Start with clean, lotion-free hands.
  2. Soak pieces of cotton ball or tissue in the apple cider vinegar.
  3. Place the piece of cotton ball over wart.
  4. Wrap the wart and cotton ball with a band aid or duct tape. Wear overnight.
  5. Remove wrapping in the morning.
  6. Repeat until the wart disappears. Results are noticeable after about two days, with full results in seven to 10 days.

What to Expect During the Treatment

The wart will start to turn black in the middle. This is the vinegar killing the wart. The black will slowly expand over the wart, killing the virus and disconnecting the roots of the warts with the skin. Once the wart completely dies, it will fall off.

Try and leave the warts unwrapped during the day. Although the process makes the warts look very ugly and it can be tempting to keep them covered letting the wart get fresh air during the day can help the process.

This is a painful treatment, and should not be used on genital warts. The first night is not too bad, but the killing of the wart does cause a bit of a burning sensation. The bigger the wart, the more painful the treatment. Once the treatment is over, however, the results are definitely worth it.

A Less Painful Option to Remove Warts at Home

If the pain is too much to bear, there is another option. Mix a cup of apple cider vinegar with warm water. Soak the infected area for about 20 minutes a day. This system takes longer then the Band-aid system, but the shorter doses of exposure causes much less irritation. Duct tape is a third option, but seeing as it is the acidic quality of the vinegar that makes the other system work, the duct tape is not as efficient.
